We got a new puppy today! It was quite the little adventure! We had taken our first dog to the dog park and there was no dogs there for him to play with! See, as it is with every dog park, they have a small dog area and a large dog area. When we pulled up there was a car behind us that pulled in too. We thought oh good, he will have someone to play with. So since our dog is over 30lbs we took him to the large dog side. They had a fairly large sized dog, three at that. Well they took theirs into the small dog area so he had no one to play with:( It was sad. All he did was stand at the fence and whine cause he wanted to play with them. Lame. Why would you bring your dogs to the dog park and not let them socialize. My husband had then said lets go look at the humane  society. JUST LOOK. lol. We got there and ended up spending about an hour and a half looking at the dogs and playing with them. We almost adopted a one year old lab mix that looked a lot like our other dog but I wanted a puppy cause I have never had a puppy (since my husband trained our current dog). So we had three picked out, took the cutest one out to play and now she is sitting on our living room floor chewing on her kong toy we got her:) Hoping it will deter her from chewing other items in our house.

Besides the cute new dog addition, we got some painting done today. My husband fixed up some drywall in the hallway that needed to be done so we got a grey color and it looks awesome. I love it! The next step is painting the kitchen! :) It's two toned already so we are gonna do the same grey on the bottom and a green on the top. I can't wait!
